Lobo Invite

The boys pre-race
The Dukes competed at the Lobo Invite in early September. The Collegiate race was unfortunately cancelled, thus forcing all non-high school runners into the Community Race. The race was held at the hilly UNM North Golf Course and was about 20-30 seconds longer than a 5k. Both the men's and women's race was won by a UNM runner, but the Dukes took many of the remaining top spots! We want to thank East Mountain High School for sharing their tent with us!

Stephanie completed the race in 5:03, and although she would have liked to be under 5 hours, it was her best 50k yet! The heat really took a toll on the runners, reaching a high of 92 degrees! Congrats to Stephanie for a job well done!

Tony Clement, Ben Fletcher, and Sal Perdomo traveled to Dallas, Texas to race the Tour Des Fleurs 10k! Tony went out to defend his title and came out with the victory!
